All news: Zellsis (Jordan Montemurro)
Jordan Montemurro was born on March 2, 1998 in the USA. From an early age, Jordan was fond of computer games, which later led him to an esports career.
The rise of the star of virtual worlds began with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in November 2017.
Zelsis before moving to VALORANT
The first major club that Zelsis played for was the Swole Patrol mix, where Zelsis was the captain for one period. Rifleman played for Swole Patrol in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
From his alma mater, Zelsis managed to perform at a number of small events, and the best was the performance at WESG 2018 USA, where the team led by Zelsis took TOP-2, losing to Team Singularity in the final.
The main achievement in CSGO is getting into Cloud9. Zelsis stayed there for over 4 months between December 2018 and March 2019. With the title North American team, Zelsis took TOP-6 at iBUYPOWER Masters IV, TOP-2 at ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational 2019 and TOP-11 at Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Katowice Major 2019.
After leaving c9, Jordan searched for a suitable place for a long time, but the search came to nothing. The player changed 6 more clubs and returned the idea of Swole Patrol three times, but in September 2020 he stopped trying.
With the boom in VALORANT, the player made the decision to switch to a discipline from Riot Games. Thus began the story of Zelsis in a tactical shooter from the authors of LoL .
Zelsis in VALORANT
Zelsis' transition to VALORANT happened in November 2020, 2 months after the end of his career as a CSGO player. The player's first stack was Orgles5, where Zelsis stayed for a week.
In February 2021, Zelsis became a member of Version1, a club much more solid than the previous one. With them, the player won the Knights Monthly Gauntlent - March, but the main milestones were ahead.
Zelsis with Version1 got into the VCT ecosystem, and very successfully. Version1 took 2nd place at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, earning a slot at VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavik. The tournament in Iceland was Jordan's first championship of this magnitude.
At the first major, Zelsis took TOP-6, which was the peak result for the next year.
After several failed events, among which was VCT 2022: NA Stage 2 Challengers - Open Qualifier 1.
Zelsis left Version1 in August 2022 after over a year and a half of playing together. In the process of searching for a new home, the player tried to gain a foothold in the Sentinels, but he did not succeed.
However, the new home was not long in coming. The Cloud9 club, for which the player once played in CSGO, became a new home for Zelsis.
The first test of the pass in the new place was the performance at Red Bull Home Grounding #3, where the C9 player took TOP-2.
