Zellsis returns to Version1

North American esports organization Version1 has announced the return of Zellsis to its VALORANT roster. The 24-year-old American player did not continue his cooperation with the Sentinels, having decided to return to his native land.

Zellsis moved from CS:GO to VALORANT at the end of 2020. A few months later, the 24-year-old American joined the Version1 team, with whom he later managed to achieve considerable success. First of all, the player helped the team win the Knights Monthly Gauntlet - March and NSG: Winter Championship - Open 4. In addition, together with the Zellsis team, he was among the top three winners at the end of VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, as well as took part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, finishing 5th-6th.

However, this summer, the 24-year-old accepted the Sentinels offer and moved to the once-stellar team. And yet, the American failed to become part of the success of the team, which failed in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier and did not make it to the final VALORANT Champions 2022.

Remarkably, Zellsis managed to throw a loud phrase that he will remain in the team for the next season. However, the failures of the Sentinels, coupled with uncertainty about the development of the scene in the next competitive season, prompted the esportsmen to return to their home team.

Most recently, the player appeared at the Misfits Gaming Invitational exhibition championship, where, together with Team Flor, he took first place and earned $10,000.

Despite returning to Version1, the North American esports organization has not shared further details about Zellsis' contract. In addition, the Sentinels club also did not issue an official statement regarding the departure of the 24-year-old American.
