Zellsis to remain with Sentinels for next season
According to Zellsis himself, he will remain a permanent member of the Sentinels VALORANT roster for the next VCT 2023 competitive season. the American has confirmed he will continue to play for the Sentinels next year.
However, there is one important condition: He will be in the team's starting lineup next year, provided that the Sentinels get a partner slot in the American League.
The 24-year-old American joined the team in July. Previously, Zellsis has been a part of Version1 since the team's inception last February. In a year and a half, the esportsman helped the team win Knights Monthly Gauntlet - March and NSG: Winter Championship - Open 4, reach the final at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, and take 5-6th place at VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavik.
I joined the Sentinels today and I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome and everyone who tuned in for the first broadcast after the transition, it means a lot. Thanks to the Sentinels guys for the games, it was a lot of fun,” wrote Zellsis in July.
However, Zellsis's status with the Sentinels as a permanent member or just a stand-in has so far remained uncertain, with Version1 saying in a statement that the player is joining the Sentinels "before the end of the 2022 season."
The North American team is currently playing as part of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier. On the eve of the Sentinels lost to The Guard with a score of 1:2, after which they fell into the lower bracket of the championship. The next match of the team will take place late at night on August 7 - the opponent will be determined a little later.
The current VALORANT Sentinels roster is as follows:
- ShahZaM
