The changes could also reach the rest of the Sentinels. Most likely, the developers want to even out the balance, since Duelists are too strong right now. What exactly will change for Killjoy and the other agents is still unknown.

If the rumors are true, this will be Killjoy’s second buff in just a few months. In patch 13.00, released in June, Riot buffed Sentinels across the board, and Killjoy got the most changes: her Turret’s fire rate went up by 50%, Nanoswarm’s duration increased from 4 to 5 seconds, and Alarmbot started moving 50% faster. Cypher, Veto, Sage, and Deadlock were buffed in the same patch. Riot explained at the time that Sentinels should punish attackers who rush a site as five with no strategy or info.

Earlier, rumors about Neon and Chamber nerfs also surfaced online. According to Turkish leaker VALORANTLeakTR, Neon’s animations before and after Relay Bolt will get longer, and she’ll no longer be able to draw her weapon while sliding. Back in late September, Riot admitted that Neon is too strong, especially in ranked, and promised to change her mechanics rather than just her numbers.

As for Chamber, Spanish leaker Safiro claimed his teleport could only be used once per round, Headhunter would have 6 bullets instead of 8, and his Tour de Force ultimate would get 2 shots instead of 5. However, Safiro said these changes would arrive in patch 13.08, and that didn’t happen, so his info should be taken with caution.

The next patch will most likely arrive on October 27 alongside the new Duelist Hush. That’s when we’ll find out whether the rumors were true.
