How to Unlock New Valorant Agent Hush

Valorant’s new Duelist, Hush, is now available in the game. She arrived with patch 13.09, released on October 27. Hush is Valorant’s 30th agent, the ninth Duelist, and the second new agent of 2026 after the Controller Miks.

As a reminder, Riot Games officially revealed Hush on October 18 at the Valorant Champions 2026 grand final in Shanghai. The agent hails from Guangdong, China, and her defining trait is telekinesis. Her abilities let her pick up weapons and the Spike from a distance, dash to a chosen point, blind enemies, pull them out of cover, and lift every player into the air with her ultimate.

As with every new agent in Valorant, there are several ways to unlock Hush. The first is for free through the recruitment event.

• For 28 days, players can unlock Hush completely free just by playing Valorant. To do that, you need to earn 200,000 XP by completing daily and weekly missions. Note that if you don’t finish the recruitment event between October 28 and November 25, your progress won’t carry over, and all the XP you’ve earned will be lost once the event ends.

The second way to unlock the new agent is to buy her with premium currency.

• For 1,000 VP, you can buy the agent, and she’ll be available to play right after purchase.

Another option is to buy the agent with Kingdom Credits, but this isn’t available yet.

• You’ll be able to buy Hush for 8,000 Kingdom Credits, but the option only opens up after 28 days, once the recruitment event ends. So if you didn’t manage to earn 200,000 XP in time, you can still get the agent with KC.

The last option is an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

• If you have PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate and have linked your subscription to your Riot Games account, you get access to all agents, including Hush. Keep in mind, though, that this doesn’t add the agent to your account permanently. It only lets you play her while your subscription is active. As soon as it ends, you’ll lose access to Hush.

Besides the new agent, patch 13.09 brought several balance changes. Clove received another nerf: the speed boost from Pick-Me-Up was cut from 15% to 10%, and a player who kills Clove during her Not Dead Yet ultimate now gets a refresh of their signature ability. The Warden rifle also got a buff, along with plenty of other changes and bug fixes.
