yay, who is a member of OpTic Gaming, turned out to be the best player in the VALORANT Champions 2022 group stage. At the start of the championship, the 23-year-old American esportsman scored an average rating of 1.34, ahead of all his rivals from among his competitors.

Together with OpTic Gaming, the former CS:GO pro-player got two victories in the group stage and made it to the playoffs ahead of schedule. The second best player in the group stage was Shyy from Leviatán, who together with his team scored two victories and also scored an average rating of 1.30.

The next one was zekken, who, being an XSET player, scored 1.27. BuZz is on the fourth place among all the players of the tournament - the representative of DRX finished the group stage of VALORANT Champions 2022 with a rating of 1.25.

The TOP-6 also included crashies (OpTic Gaming) and Shao (FunPlus Phoenix), who finished their performances with a rating of 1.23 and 1.20, respectively.

VALORANT Champions 2022 takes place from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul at the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
