Riot Games Temporarily Removes Haven From Valorant
Riot Games has temporarily disabled Haven in all Valorant modes. Game producer RiotLupini shared the news. The cause is a bug that appeared in the game after today’s update.
As a reminder, Valorant received a small hotfix overnight that fixed issues with match replays and other minor bugs. Right after that, however, players noticed texture problems on Haven. In some areas of the map, textures appeared black or didn’t load at all. The developers haven’t said when Haven will return.

The bug appeared right after the release of patch 13.08, which brought new content and skins to the game. A new act started on October 14, and the competitive map pool changed along with it. It now includes Abyss, Bind, Corrode, Haven, Lotus, Summit, and Sunset, so while Haven is unavailable, only six maps remain in rotation.
At the same time, RiotLupini stressed that the issue won’t affect VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, the biggest Valorant tournament of the year, where the event’s deciding matches are being played this week. The world championship grand final takes place on October 18.
