Valorant Will Get a Grave Matters Halloween Capsule With Animated Accessories

Riot Games is preparing a new Grave Matters Halloween capsule for Valorant. Dataminer valohabercisi shared the news and also revealed what the bundle will include and how the accessories will work. However, Riot hasn’t officially announced the capsule yet.

According to the leaker, Grave Matters will include three animated items: a player card, a gun buddy, and a spray. They’ll only be available as a full bundle, with no option to buy the items separately. The price hasn’t been revealed yet, but based on previous offers, it will likely cost somewhere between 1,145 and 2,000 VP. The capsule is expected to arrive on October 27 in North America, Brazil, and Latin America, and on October 28 in other regions, alongside the new agent Hush and patch 13.09.

The capsule’s main highlight is a gun buddy shaped like a cute ghost that reacts to what happens in the game:

• normally, the ghost just floats next to your weapon;
• after a kill, it plays a special animation, but no more than once every 5 seconds;
• when you pull out your knife, the ghost pulls out a tiny knife too and then puts it away;
• if you die, the ghost turns into a tombstone.

The gun buddy also has a secret variant. With a certain chance, the ghost turns pink and purple, gets a different face, and has its own set of animations. According to valohabercisi, the game checks which agent you’re playing when picking the variant. The leaker suggests this may be tied to Hush, since pink and purple are the new agent’s signature colors, but for now that’s just a guess.

This isn’t Valorant’s first Halloween capsule. In October 2024, Riot released a similar Troublemaker bundle built around a cute black cat. It also included an animated gun buddy, the Bucket of Trouble player card, and an animated spray. The gun buddy and card came in orange day and cyan night variants, and players already knew the cat from Riot’s skin showcase videos. The bundle cost 1,145 VP, was only sold as a whole, and stayed in the store for just two weeks.
