Rumor: New Valorant Agent Could Copy Abilities of Fallen Allies

There are only a few days left until the reveal of Valorant’s new agent, and players keep finding new clues about the heroine. This time, the community has focused on details from Riot Games’ official materials and on an image that has been in the game for a while on the Summit map.

The first thing several dataminers reported at once is a possible ability of the new agent. According to rumors, the upcoming character may be able to copy the signature ability (E) of her dead allies. It’s unknown how this will work, but if confirmed, the new agent will become the second character whose abilities are tied to a post-death mechanic. The first is Clove, who can throw smokes even after dying.

New promotional materials featuring the agent have also appeared in Shanghai, where VALORANT Champions 2026 is taking place. A pop-up café dedicated to the new character has opened there, where visitors can be the first to see new details. Photos of the interior reveal several interesting details: a wall with a banner showing the character’s eyes, a green crystal, an old Chinese coin, and two small ghosts, one pink and one white.

According to the community, these ghosts are the new agent’s key attribute. First of all, because they have already appeared in the game on the Summit map. Since the map’s release, players have been able to see a picture on it in which one of the students holds similar ghosts in her hands.

Insider BDE Radiante believes the picture may show the new agent in her youth, when she was still studying at the academy, and that the ghosts themselves are one of her abilities. Also, after patch 13.05, a lore message appeared in the game saying that someone had broken Sage’s trial record, and that it was a girl who did it:

Can you imagine, someone just SMASHED your climbing speed record. I’m watching the video right now: a girl is racing through the air like a demon.

This theory fits well with previous data. Earlier, dataminer valohabercisi reported that the new agent will be from China and may be connected to Sage, since she wears a necklace with a green orb. He also said the agent will have a dash ability, but an unusual one compared to other characters.

Riot Games has not officially revealed any details about the agent yet. According to insiders, the full reveal will take place on October 17 during the VALORANT Champions 2026 finals weekend.
