Representatives of DreamHack Winter 2017 announced that Team EnVyUs had received a direct invitation to the championship due to the refusal of Team Liquid. “Liquids” made a decision to miss the competition due to a very busy schedule and the coach’s visa issues.

The tournament will take place in Jonkoping, Sweden on December 1-3. Eight teams, mostly from Europe, will fight for a prize pool in the sum of $100,000, six of them have received direct invitations.
