YouTuber Uses AI to Build a Game Cheat with Gemini Pro and Claude Opus
A YouTuber has demonstrated how modern AI models can be used to create game cheats, using Gemini Pro and Claude Opus to generate and improve an external cheating tool. The experiment highlights how generative AI could lower the technical barrier for developing sophisticated cheats.
According to the creator, Gemini Pro generated an external cheat after a series of prompts. The initial version included features such as ESP (wallhack), aimbot, bunnyhop, and several other gameplay modifications. After multiple iterations and refinements, the creator reported that the software became more stable and its features performed more reliably.
The project was then transferred to Claude Opus, which was used to expand the cheat's capabilities. The updated version reportedly added auto-strafe, a bomb timer, anti-flash, enemy visibility checks, and other utility features.
The demonstration raises new concerns for multiplayer game developers and anti-cheat providers. While building advanced cheats has traditionally required extensive programming knowledge and reverse-engineering skills, generative AI tools may now help automate parts of that process, potentially reducing the time and expertise needed to create complex cheating software.
