MOUZ gets the fourth victory in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16

The MOUZ team defeated HEET 2:1, thanks to which they became the strongest in Group C at ESL Pro League Season 16. This success allowed the "mice" to go directly to the quarterfinals of the tournament. In turn, the French team occupies the last line in the championship.

The duel between the teams MOUZ and HEET started on the map Ancient, which became the choice of the French team. At the same time, after the first half, it seemed that no intrigue was expected, since the "mice" showed excellent defense and obtained a comfortable advantage - 11:4. After the side switch, MOUZ quickly closed the gap with eight map points. However, here the French joined the game, who made a comeback, and then pulled out a victory in overtime - 19:17.

Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which became the choice of MOUZ. But if the first half ended with a minimal advantage in favor of the "mice" - 8:7 - then after the change of sides, HEET began to disappear from the server. In turn, sycrone's men took advantage of the opponent's mistakes, thanks to which they equalized the score in the series — 16:12.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, where MOUZ immediately seized the initiative. After the change of sides, the French still tried to win back, but in vain. As a result, MOUZ played confidently for defense, and at the same time got another victory in the championship — 16:9.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000. The winner of the tournament will receive the main prize of $175,000, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
