Switch 2 Version of Starfield Gets Exciting Update

Despite Starfield having finally arrived on PlayStation 5 last week, there is still yet another platform on which the game hasn’t been released—it's Nintendo Switch 2. Although previous rumors suggested there might be some difficulties about a possible port, now it looks like Bethesda’s sci-fi action RPG is heading to the platform soon.

As revealed via UniversoNintendo, the Switch 2 version of Starfield has received an official rating in Taiwan by a local rating agency. Usually, those things happen before the official announcement of upcoming titles, so this may be an indicator that Bethesda Game Studios is working hard to port Starfield to Nintendo Switch 2, and the announcement could be a question of time.

Besides being released on PlayStation 5 and getting a lot of negative reviews from gamers about its performance, Starfield also received a new DLC, Terran Armada, and the biggest update so far, Free Lanes. Although Terran Armada wasn't received very warmly, fans really took to Free Lanes update, which, according to many, significantly improved the game by adding a host of new features.

As for the Starfield version of Nintendo Switch 2, gaming insider NateTheHate previously teased the development was going to be difficult, but given the fact the version has now been rated, it looks like Bethesda Game Studios succeeded.
