New Details of Control Resonant Have Been Revealed
Remedy’s newest title, Control Resonant, the sequel of 2019’s Control expected to release this year. The game is reportedly studio’s biggest title, and the new details of Control Resonant has just been revealed.
PlayStation Blog shared the new portion of information about Control Resonant, including story and gameplay details, and also some technical features. It is revealed the upcoming game will remind such titles as Devil May Cry and Bayonetta but at the same time it won’t be a Soulslike. Although it won’t feature an open world, you can explore the map, where you find side stories – they are called World Quests. The developers want the players “to explore, not clean the map”. - Manhattan in the game will be divided into different and unique areas, where each zone has its own visual variety, lore and secrets;

- The game will have one ending only;
Control Resonant was officially announced at The Game Awards 2025. The game follows Dylan, the brother of Jesse, the main character of the original video game, who is looking for his sister and battles unusual cosmic enemies and creations in Manhattan.
