Marvel Rivals Will Recreate the Moments from MCU and Avengers Movies

NetEase Games has announced Marvel Rivals will have an actual crossover with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sort of. In fact, it’s related to Avengers: Doomsday movie, which is set to premiere this year, on December 18.

Specifically, on its X social media page, Marvel Rivals has announced the game will have Path to Doomsday mode, inspired by MCU titles – Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. The players will be able to explore one of the most important events of Marvel Cinematic Universe in Marvel Rivals. For example, this April the game will feature a mode, where Loki will face the original Avengers, just like in 2012’s movie. The other activities, as you can check below, are scheduled for June, August, October and December 18 – the same day Avengers: Doomsday premieres in cinema.

Avengers: Doomsday will introduce Doctor Doom in the MCU, played by Robert Downey Jr., who previously played Iron Man/Tony Stark in The Infinity Saga. The movie is expected to become the MCU’s biggest crossover yet, as it features Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the original X-Men.
