Organizers of Captains Draft 4.0 made a draw and, according to its results, two groups were formed. Teams will fight in bo3 matches by a GSL system. The top two rosters from each group will get to the playoff stage, where they will see a single-elimination bracket.

The tournament will be hosted at DC Armory in Washington on January 4-7. Eight teams will fight for a prize pool in the sum of $300,000 and 300 DPC points, the winner will earn $108,000 and 150 points.
