The Teams to Beat at TI15

The 2026 Dota 2 competitive season has been pretty tight, with teams taking turns lifting trophies at S-tier events. Coming into the biggest tournament of the year, we have a pretty good idea of which teams enter as the favorites.

As the Polymarket lines currently suggest, TEAM VISION (also known as PARIVISION) is looking like the strongest Dota team in the world right now. The team has dominated the competition at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup very recently and has been in top shape over the past three months.

Trailing right behind PARIVISION is Team Yandex, who are easily a close second. They’ve won three S-tier tournaments this year, including PGL Wallachia S7 and BLAST SLAM VII. They were the only team able to push PARIVISION to their limits at the Esports World Cup. The team also has experienced TI champion Martin "Saksa" Sazdov leading the charge.

Though PARIVISION and Team Yandex are the clear top two heading into Shanghai, teams like BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, and Team Falcons also have a really good shot at the title.

Sleeper Teams Worth the Trades

The top dogs are favorites for a reason, but you might not find much value trading them. Some teams have slowed down throughout the season, but are definitely capable of making deep runs.

Aurora Gaming stands out as a dark horse to keep an eye on. They’re yet to win an S-tier tournament this season, but the Eastern European squad is always good for a deep run.

Team Liquid also has an extremely experienced roster, with players who have won TI and made it to back-to-back TI finals. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see their veteran core show up for the biggest tournament of the year.

1win Team, formerly Tundra Esports, has slowed down over the past few months. However, they are still the team that has won the most trophies this season, so we can never count them out.

Underdogs With Great Value

The South American squad of LGD Gaming is one of the teams we’re keeping an eye on. The team has been slowly improving and even made a grand final appearance at BLAST Slam 7. Not many people believe in them, so you could find some really good value on their markets.

We can’t ignore Vici Gaming and Xtreme Gaming, as these are two of China’s best representatives at the event. They’ll be competing on home soil, so their motivation is as high as it can possibly get. Both teams have also displayed decent performances at international events and are worth considering.

Finally, we also have some faith in Nigma Galaxy. They’ve had a turbulent season, but after bringing in Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan and Artem "lorenof" Melnyk, the roster seems to be clicking. Nigma isn’t a team that can win the entire tournament, but can potentially make a deep run at the very least.
