Dota 2 Patch 7.41c Released With Hero Nerfs and Gameplay Fixes
Dota 2 has received a new update, as Valve officially rolled out Patch 7.41c during the night of May 7. The update focuses on balance adjustments for multiple heroes and items, while also addressing numerous gameplay bugs and mechanics.
One of the most notable gameplay changes affects Flying Vision, which no longer ignores the boundaries of Ronach’s Lair. Vision mechanics now function consistently both inside and outside the area, removing unintended interactions that players had previously been exploiting.
Valve also adjusted the Tormentor Alleviation mechanic to improve survivability and duration effects.
- Alleviation: maximum health regeneration increased from 2% to 2.25%
- Alleviation: duration increased from 10s to 15s
These buffs are expected to make Tormentor encounters slightly more impactful during mid and late-game fights.
Among all heroes affected in Patch 7.41c, Lone Druid received some of the largest nerfs. The update increases the mana cost of Summon Bear, making the ability more punishing during the laning stage and prolonged fights. In addition, the hero’s Level 10 talent no longer reduces the cooldown of the spell, limiting the frequency at which players can resummon the Spirit Bear.
Valve has not introduced any major reworks in this update, but Patch 7.41c continues the studio’s efforts to fine-tune the post-7.41 meta. You can view the full list of updates on the official website.
