Heroic have disbanded their Dota 2 roster

HEROIC has officially announced the disbandment of its Dota 2 roster, citing financial challenges despite strong competitive results and a growing fanbase.

The organization shared the news in a public statement, confirming that the project is no longer sustainable in the long term.

During its run in Dota 2, the roster delivered several historic results:

• Became the first South American team to win a Tier 1 tournament
• Secured a Top 6 finish at The International 2025

These milestones marked one of the most successful periods for a South American lineup on the global stage.

HEROIC confirmed that:

• All players and staff have been released from their contracts
• The roster is free to explore new opportunities
• The team intends to stay together and continue competing independently

However, it remains unclear whether the lineup will secure a new organization or continue as a standalone squad.
