Earlier this month, there was a report that Ubisoft is planning to make a lot of announcements and releases this year, but it seems like they will keep their developments, and in fact, we still don’t know what they are currently focused on. He clarifies the studio currently doesn’t have any ideas or desire to make new titles, and there is a chance game series could be put on hold indefinitely.

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs Franchise Reportedly Dead, According to Insider 1

Watch Dogs franchise started back in 2014, when the original game was launched. Ubisoft released a sequel, Watch Dogs 2, in 2016, and for most gamers, it’s probably the best game in the trilogy. The latest entry, Watch Dogs: Legion, released in 2020, has received mostly mixed reviews from players and critics.
