Brawl Stars Movie in the Works? Team Teases Major Expansion at Comic-Con 2025

During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, the Brawl Stars development team dropped an exciting hint that the game’s vibrant universe might soon expand beyond mobile screens. In a fan Q&A session, Community Manager Drew Hancock confirmed that the team is actively exploring the possibility of creating a Brawl Stars movie.

The Brawliverse Might Soon Go Cinematic

The reveal came in response to a fan asking whether the team had any plans for additional media, such as an art book, comic series, or animated show, to dive deeper into the game’s lore. Drew replied enthusiastically, saying:

“We want to make something as big as that,”referring to a potential movie or large-scale adaptation.

He also mentioned that the team is looking for partners to help bring the Brawliverse to life in a new format, and encouraged fans to stay tuned for more news in the future.

With its colorful characters, unique world, and deep lore, Brawl Stars is a strong candidate for cross-media storytelling. A movie or series could provide fans with richer insights into the game’s backstory, something many players have long wanted to see.

The buzz around this possibility was further amplified in KairosTime Gaming’s video, The Future of Brawl, where Drew’s comments were featured. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, this is one of the clearest signs yet that Brawl Stars is preparing to go beyond gaming.

Joining the Cross-Media Trend

Brawl Stars isn’t alone in expanding into other media. The industry is seeing a growing wave of cross-media adaptations, including:
