Recently, reports also surfaced that Electronic Arts is planning to officially announce EA Sports FC 27. Insider billbil-kun shared that the game is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026, and also revealed its platforms, editions, and prices. We don't know anything about new features yet, but there have long been rumors of a fully open-world mode titled The Grounds, where players could interact with each other on a big map, play mini-games, and customize their characters. EA hasn't commented on any of this, so these leaks should be considered as rumors. Anyway, football fans probably won't have to wait much longer for the official announcement.

EA Sports FC 27 is rumored to release on September 25 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and Switch 2.
