MySims Cozy Bundle Reportedly Coming to PlayStation and Xbox in November
The MySims Cozy Bundle could soon expand beyond Nintendo’s ecosystem, with a report suggesting that the collection—containing MySims and MySims Kingdom—will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 18. It would mark the first time Electronic Arts’ Sims spin-off has appeared on Sony or Microsoft’s consoles, nearly two decades after the original MySims debuted.
According to Dealabs, via Insider Gaming, the bundle will be priced at $40, mirroring its cost when it arrived on Nintendo Switch last year. Whether the release will include PlayStation 4 and Xbox One remains unclear. EA has not yet confirmed the report, though the information aligns with the subseries’ renewed presence on other platforms—MySims Cozy Bundle is also scheduled to reach Apple Arcade next week.
MySims began life in 2007 on Wii and Nintendo DS, adapting The Sims’ life-simulation framework into a more accessible, stylized format. Its success led to several follow-ups, including MySims Kingdom, MySims Racing, and MySims Party. While the series never achieved the cultural reach of its parent franchise, it maintained a loyal audience drawn to its light creative structure and casual world-building.
The potential reemergence of MySims comes at a turbulent moment for EA’s broader Sims ecosystem. Earlier this month, the company announced that The Sims Mobile will permanently shut down on January 20, without an offline mode. That news coincided with EA’s impending $55 billion privatization deal involving Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners, and Silver Lake, which has prompted criticism from parts of The Sims community.
In response, the official Sims account on X wrote,
“We deeply respect that everyone experiences The Sims in their own way and will make choices that are right for them.”
The mainline Sims franchise, meanwhile, shows no sign of a near-term sequel, leaving MySims Cozy Bundle’s arrival as the most notable expansion of the series’ reach heading into the holiday season.
Also, EA is also preparing one of The Sims 4’s largest quality-of-life patches, addressing over 150 community-voted bugs on November 4. The fixes, chosen through player polling, signal a broader shift toward transparency and sustained community engagement.
