eFootball 2026 Unveils Massive Football Festival Campaign Ahead of International Tournament Season

KONAMI has officially revealed the full details of the upcoming Football Festival Campaign in eFootball 2026, set to launch on June 4, 2026. Arriving alongside the latest game update, the event celebrates the start of the international football season with a wide range of content, including free player cards, national team-themed events, new Epic players, exclusive rewards, and fresh gameplay features.

Free Messi, Yamal, and Hundreds of Coins Available

The Football Festival Campaign serves as eFootball 2026’s first major international football event of the year.

Players who log in during the campaign will be able to claim Show Time Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal cards for free. Additional campaign objectives will allow managers to sign up to 10 Highlight players from the Argentina and Spain national teams.

A new Campaign Hub will also be introduced, centered around collecting national team flags. Flags can be earned by facing squads built around different countries, while upgrading them into Gold Flags unlocks additional points and rewards. Through progression in the hub, players can earn up to 310 eFootball Coins.

International Cup 2026 Brings World Tournament Atmosphere

One of the headline additions is the International Cup 2026, a tournament-inspired event that mirrors the format of major international football competitions.

Managers can select their favorite national team, compete through group-stage matches, advance into knockout rounds, and battle for the championship trophy.

Starting June 13, KONAMI will also introduce Players of the Day cards. Footballers who deliver standout performances in real-world international matches will receive special upgraded cards the following day. Daily Challenge Events will reward players with Chance Deals linked to these featured selections.

Social Campaigns Return with Valuable Rewards

KONAMI is also expanding the social side of the game through two special campaigns launching on June 4.

The Friend Invite Campaign rewards both existing and new players. By inviting friends and completing specific objectives, participants can earn up to 1,000 eFootball Coins.

Meanwhile, the Friend Match Campaign makes a return, offering players the opportunity to unlock Epic Steven Gerrard by competing in Friend Matches against five different opponents.

National Team Packs Headline the Update

One of the most anticipated features of the campaign is the arrival of new National Team Packs, divided into Premium and Regular versions.

Portugal and England receive Premium packs featuring Epic players and managers. The Portugal pack includes Roberto Martínez alongside Epic Cristiano Ronaldo, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, João Neves, and Bruno Fernandes.

England’s pack features Thomas Tuchel as manager, accompanied by Epic Harry Kane, Marc Guéhi, Anthony Gordon, Elliot Anderson, and Ezri Konsa.

Additional national content will arrive throughout June:

  • June 8: National Team Selections for Japan and Brazil
  • June 11: National Team Packs for Turkey, France, Germany, and the Netherlands
  • National Team Selections for Indonesia, South Korea, and Iraq

All featured managers will receive upgraded 90 Proficiency ratings.

New Attacking Surge Skill Debuts

The update also introduces a brand-new Show Time skill called Attacking Surge.

The ability increases a player's speed while positioned in the attacking half when a teammate is in possession of the ball, creating more aggressive forward runs and attacking opportunities.

The first players to receive the skill will be Epic Johan Cruyff, Filippo Inzaghi, and Jordi Alba.

Keisuke Honda Joins as a New Legend

As part of KONAMI’s ongoing 30th Anniversary celebrations, Keisuke Honda will arrive in eFootball 2026 as a special 30th Anniversary Legend card on June 4.

The campaign will also introduce Epic Shinji Kagawa and Makoto Hasebe, adding more legendary Japanese football stars to the roster.

Recent community leaks have suggested that additional Japanese legends and Epic cards may also be on the way following the release of update v5.5.0, potentially arriving through future National Team Packs during the international football season.
