Garena has officially launched Fire Kickoff, a new football-themed event in Free Fire that celebrates the international football season through the campaign slogan "Kick Off for Passion." The event is now live and will run until June 21, 2026, bringing special game modes, themed map updates, exclusive cosmetics, and football-inspired gameplay mechanics.

Football Takes Over Free Fire

As part of the event, several Free Fire maps have received football-themed visual upgrades, featuring new decorations, redesigned items, and limited-time activities inspired by the sport.

Players can participate in various event challenges and missions to earn exclusive rewards while experiencing a football atmosphere across the battlefield.

One of the biggest additions arrives in Battle Royale mode, where Bermuda's iconic Factory area has been transformed into a dedicated football arena. The location serves as a special hotspot featuring interactive elements and football-themed encounters.

New Revival System Inspired by Competitive Showdowns

A standout feature of the Fire Kickoff event is the introduction of Pitch Showdown Revival.

Available across all maps during the early and mid-game stages, the system gives eliminated players a second chance to return to the match. Instead of being removed from the game immediately, players are sent to a football arena where they compete in a 1v1 showdown. The winner earns the opportunity to redeploy back onto the battlefield.

The mechanic adds an extra layer of strategy and excitement while increasing players' chances of staying in the fight.
