Thierry Henry & John Terry Reportedly Joining eFootball 2025 Legends Roster

Despite recently losing the official license for Bayern Munich, eFootball 2025 continues to build momentum with its expanding list of legendary players. A newly released advertisement from the official Chinese version of the game has all but confirmed that football icons Thierry Henry and John Terry will be joining the lineup.

New Ad Hints at Iconic Additions

The promotional content, shared by NetEase Games (the game's publisher in China), quickly caught the attention of fans. The ad prominently features the names of Cristiano Ronaldo, Zico, Francesco Totti, Michael Owen, Fernando Torres, Luis Suárez, Lionel Messi, Neymar, and rising star Lamine Yamal — alongside Henry and Terry.

Given their appearance in the same marketing material, fans are now confident that both Henry and Terry will be new additions to the eFootball 2025 legends roster.

Nostalgia and Potential Return of PES 5 Icons

While both players have been featured in older football titles, including the beloved PES 5 where they shared the cover, this marks the first strong indication of their presence in the eFootball era. Their return offers long-time fans a chance to recreate iconic matchups from the golden age of football games.

What About Zidane?

Zinedine Zidane's data was reportedly found in earlier datamining leaks, although he hasn’t officially appeared in the game yet. However, previous leaks — including Pelé and Puskás — turned out to be accurate. Both were added during the 30th Anniversary campaign, giving fans hope that Zidane’s debut is only a matter of time.

Licensing & Future Updates

Although the Chinese version of eFootball 2025 differs slightly in animations and pack structure, the licensing remains identical across all regions. That means any content revealed in one version is expected to appear globally.
