Former 100 Thieves and Gen.G Esports Player Announces Retirement

jcStani, who is a former player for 100 Thieves and Gen.G Esports, has announced his retirement from the scene. In his address, the 22-year-old American noted that he was tired of the competition and VALORANT.

Finally tweeting but I'm tired of VALORANT. The Challengers team wanted to play with me, but the process doesn't make me happy anymore. I was one of the first signed pro players 3 years ago and enjoyed my journey, but now I have found a new passion that I want to be the best at - poker! The effort I put into learning a new game, even if it's not a video game, gives me the same competitive drive. Most importantly, I have much more free time for social life and travel. And thanks to my poker coach, kaboose. My account is always open in case anyone wants to ask for advice on VALORANT. See you.

jcStani appeared on the scene at the beginning of 2020, joining the Immortals team. Here, the 22-year-old American made it to the top three at the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Showdown, FaZe Clan Invitational, NSG x Renegades Invitational, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 2. However, in the summer of 2021, the esportsman left the team to join the Pioneers by the end of the season.

In the new club, jcStani managed to win the Community Gaming Valorant Elite Showdown, as well as reach the final of the Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet - October. However, a few months later, the 22-year-old American changed teams again, becoming part of 100 Thieves. But he didn't manage to stay here either, as a poor start to the season forced the organization to say goodbye to jcStani.

At the end of the season, the esportsman joined Gen.G Esports, but a few months later he was again forced to look for a new team. As a result, jcStani gave up trying to get back on the scene and turned to poker.
