Rumors: TSM was planning to gather a female line-up from Brazil
According to The Enemy portal, the North American esports organization TSM planned to gather a female roster from Brazil to participate in the Game Changers series. The club was reportedly interested in naxy as well as former MIBR Female players pan and shizue.
The players managed to get together and began joint training. However, the North American organization's leadership vetoed the deal, causing the project to be shelved.
According to the source, those responsible for TSM in Brazil turned to naxy, pan and shizue to understand the contractual, financial and prospective situation of each player. All the information was passed on to the club's management, but the functionaries decided not to assemble another line-up, since TSM decided to suspend investments in the Brazilian scene.
naxy spent the last season with Team Liquid Brazil. Here, the 24-year-old girl from Brazil became the champion of VCT 2022: Game Changers Brazil Series 1 and VCT 2022: Game Changers Brazil Series 2, and also took third place at VCT 2022: Game Changers Championship. However, back in December, she left the team and became a free agent.
In turn, pan and shizue spent the second half of last season as part of MIBR Female. Here they managed to win Player1 Series - Hera #4, reach the finals at Esportsmaker Spike Ladies #3, and also take fourth place in the VCT 2022: Game Changers Brazil Series 2. However, at the end of the season they left the starting roster, having received the opportunity to negotiations.
Interestingly, Kaisz, the general manager of TSM in Brazil, confirmed the fact of negotiations with the presented players. He also explained that the organization decided not to expand on VALORANT due to the current reform, but did not rule out expanding to the Game Changers series in the future.
