Riot Confirms VALORANT Map Pool Shake-Up — Icebox Out, Abyss Returns

Riot Games has officially revealed upcoming changes to the VALORANT map pool, with Patch 11.04 set to roll out on August 19–20, depending on your region 🌍. The announcement was made via the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account.

🧊 Icebox is being vaulted once again, making room for the return of Abyss, which has been out of the competitive pool for over 130 days. Meanwhile, Breeze still holds the record as the most-absent map, sitting at a massive 404 days without rotation 🌪️.

🛠️ For context, the last major pool update dropped with Patch 11.00, when Split and Pearl were rotated out, Bind made its comeback, and Corrode debuted as the newest battleground.
