Rumor: Team Liquid Reportedly Reaches Verbal Agreement with Trexx

According to a report by Sheep Esports, Team Liquid is set to sign Nikita "Trexx" Cherednichenko, who will reportedly replace Mykhailo "Serial" Zhdanov on the starting roster. Serial was recently benched during VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, sparking speculation about the team's next move.

Trexx, most recently part of Team Vitality, boasts a solid competitive resume. In 2025 alone, he secured 4th place at VALORANT Masters Bangkok and helped Vitality clinch victory at the VCT 2025: EMEA Kickoff. His consistent performance and adaptability have earned him a reputation as a valuable asset on the international stage.

Serial, who joined Team Liquid in March 2025, helped the squad achieve 3rd place in the VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 Playoffs and a 9–10th place finish at Masters Toronto. Despite those efforts, the team appears ready to shake up its roster ahead of the next stage.
