XSET player was dissatisfied with the fans for harassing the team

dephh, who is an XSET player, was dissatisfied with fans on Twitter for harassing the team after the organizers decided to replay the round. The 30-year-old British esportsman also expressed dissatisfaction with Riot Games, as the company had to publicly clarify the situation to the fans before resuming the fight.

I feel terrible after yesterday's hatred directed towards the team from both fans and pro-players. And very disappointed at Riot Games for not clarifying the situation publicly or live before restarting the match. Nothing can take away from us what we have achieved in this tournament. I've had a fantastic year with wonderful people and can't ask for more.

That being said, what a fantastic year I've spent with wonderful people. Couldn't have asked for more. With an impending franchise, a very unclear future, but looking forward to whatever it is!

Recall that on the eve of Riot Games forced the XSET and FunPlus Phoenix teams to replay the last round of the match as part of VALORANT Champions 2022 due to a bug with the Killjoy turret. As a result, the round was replayed, while a flurry of criticism fell upon the players of the North American team. However, FunPlus Phoenix won that fight and made it to the semi-finals of the lower bracket.

VALORANT Champions 2022 takes place from August 31 to September 18 in Istanbul at the Volkswagen Arena. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
