VALORANT Mobile to Host First-Ever Tournament in China — OnePlus Named Official Partner
Riot Games and smartphone giant OnePlus have announced the first competitive tournament for VALORANT Mobile, set to take place in China. The collaboration was revealed during a launch event featuring Teng Jing Sports CEO Jin Yibo and Tencent’s Head of Domestic Distribution and Esports Operations.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme will serve as the official tournament device, also featured in an offline demo in Shanghai this June and a pre-release open event in Qingdao this July.

Scheduled for the second half of 2025, the tournament will mark the first large-scale event for VALORANT Mobile, signaling Riot’s growing focus on the mobile esports scene.
In their official statement, Riot emphasized the game’s goal to offer a “creative competitive stage” that demands top-tier performance — aligning perfectly with OnePlus’s focus on gaming optimization.
Currently, VALORANT Mobile is available for pre-registration in China only, with the next closed beta planned for June. A global release date has yet to be announced. As VALORANT Studios head Anna Donlon previously noted, launching in China makes sense given the region’s massive and competitive mobile FPS community and Lightspeed’s strong development reputation.
Riot continues to expand its esports empire across all fronts — and with VALORANT Mobile, a new wave of talent and competition may soon emerge.
