Waylay: The New Duelist Unveiled at Valorant Masters Bangkok 2025

At Valorant Masters Bangkok 2025, Riot Games officially revealedWaylay, the newest addition to the agent roster.

Who is Waylay?

Waylay is a highly versatile duelist, excelling in team-based combat with her prismatic abilities and counterattacks. She is designed to control space on the battlefield, making her a dynamic pick for aggressive players. Riot Games' game designer, Jun Cuervo, described her as a “duelist who dominates space.”

Waylay’s Abilities

• C - Saturate

1. Throws a light cluster grenade that explodes upon hitting the ground.
2. Creates an area of effect that hinders enemy movement and slows weapon handling.

• Q - Light Speed

1. Allows Waylay to perform a high-speed double dash, giving her excellent mobility.
2. LMB activation: Dash forward twice in quick succession.
3. RMB activation: Perform a single dash.
4. Upward activation: Triggers only the first dash.

• E - Retract

1. Deploys a light beacon on the ground.
2. Re-activating the ability instantly teleports Waylay back to the beacon.
3. Grants a brief invulnerability effect upon teleportation.

• X - Convergent Paths (Ultimate)

1. Fires a growing beam of light that gradually expands outward.
2. After a short delay, Waylay gains a significant speed boost.
3. The beam disrupts enemy players within its area of effect, making it a strong zoning tool.

Release Date

Waylay will officially be available on March 4 with the launch of VALORANT Season 25 Act 2. Players can look forward to adding this agile and aggressive duelist to their lineup and experimenting with her high-mobility playstyle.
