eFootball 2026 Adds Attack Trigger and Varane Legend Card

eFootball 2026 continues to expand its tactical options with the introduction of a brand-new Show Time skill called Attack Trigger. Alongside this gameplay update, KONAMI has released new Show Time player packs, introduced Raphaël Varane as a Legend, and launched a dedicated Internazionale Milano 25-26 Pack with a themed in-game tournament. Here’s a full breakdown of the latest content update.

New Show Time Skill: Attack Trigger

The highlight of this update is the debut of Attack Trigger, a Show Time skill focused on improving attacking movement.

According to KONAMI, the skill increases the Attacking Awareness of all teammates when the player who possesses Attack Trigger is on the ball. In practical terms, this means that once the skill holder controls possession, teammates make smarter forward runs, position themselves more intelligently, anticipate passes faster, and react more aggressively in attacking situations.

Importantly, the boost does not apply to the player with the skill. Only surrounding teammates benefit from the enhanced Attacking Awareness. Further analysis and early gameplay impressions will likely clarify how impactful the mechanic truly is in competitive matches.

Raphaël Varane Arrives as a Legend

One of the biggest additions in this update is the arrival of Raphaël Varane as a Legend card in his Real Madrid version. Known for his pace and defensive reliability, Varane enters eFootball 2026 as one of the fastest defenders available.

He comes equipped with two powerful defensive Show Time skills:

• Aerial Fort
• Long-Reach Tackle

Varane will be available starting February 23, 2026, alongside Rafa Márquez and Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the Spanish League Guardians pack.

New Show Time Player Pack

A new Show Time pack has also been released, featuring:

• Bruno Fernandes
• Frenkie de Jong
• Reece James

All three players include the new Attack Trigger Show Time skill, in addition to secondary Show Time abilities.

Additionally, a Starter Set Gabriel Batistuta pack has been added to the game for 500 coins. However, compared to the Web Store version, the in-game pack offers lower overall value.

Internazionale Milano 25-26 Pack and Tournament

KONAMI has also launched the Internazionale Milano 25-26 Feb ’26 Pack, which includes a full 11-player squad along with a dedicated manager card.

The manager featured is Cristian Chivu, who specializes in:

• Quick Counter
• Out Wide

He also provides boosts to Speed and Stamina and features the Aggressive Centring A Link-up Playstyle.

To complement the pack release, a themed Championship Club Event for Inter Milan is now live in the Events section, allowing players to compete in a dedicated tournament.
