SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 Launches Worldwide on Mobile

SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 is now officially available worldwide on Android and iOS. Developed by SEGA, the football simulation title puts players in the role of a club manager, tasked with leading a team from local leagues to international success.

The game was first announced in July 2025, followed by a closed beta test in August 2025. While initially planned for a 2025 release, SEGA later delayed the launch to allow for additional polish, ultimately setting the release date for January 22, 2026.

Powered by Football Manager technology and officially licensed with FIFPRO player data, SEGA Football Club Champions 2026 allows players to manage real-world footballers and compete in leagues such as the J League, K League, and others. The core gameplay focuses on long-term club development rather than short-term success.

Players can recruit talent, design training programs, upgrade facilities, manage transfers, and gradually transform their club from underdogs into championship contenders. The game also features PvP modes, cup competitions, and international tournaments, offering multiple ways to compete.

Leaderboards allow clubs to be compared globally, while cross-play support enables seamless progression across mobile, PC, and console platforms. The game is free-to-play, allowing progress to be shared across devices without interruption.

To celebrate the global launch, SEGA is running special login bonuses, missions, and scouting events. Players can earn Prime Scouting Tickets, in-game currency, training cards, and guaranteed high-rarity players by logging in and completing limited-time challenges.
