Astralis wins over ENCE in ESL Pro League Season 16

The Astralis team turned out to be stronger than ENCE with a score of 2:0 in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16. After this victory, the Danish team returns to the fight for a place in the playoffs, while ENCE actually loses the chances of getting into the TOP-3 of group C.

The final meeting of the fourth round started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Danish team. At the same time, the teams showed an equal start in the first half, albeit with a slight margin in favor of ENCE. After the switchover, sAw's men showed an excellent series of rounds, at some point becoming one step closer to victory. However, the Astralis players turned on here, turning the tide of the fight and taking the lead in the series — 16:13.

Next, the teams moved to the Dust 2 map, which turned out to be the choice of ENCE. But if the start of the first half was left to Snappi and the company, then after that the Danish team got involved and managed to get a comfortable advantage — 9:6. In the second half, the Danes quickly went ahead, making the opponent nervous. However, ENCE failed to reach a decent streak, while Astralis took advantage of all the opponent's mistakes and closed the streak in their favor — 16:11.

In the last round of the group stage, Astralis will play Heroic, while ENCE will face the North American team Complexity.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000. The winner of the tournament will receive the main prize of $175,000, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
