CS Legend Gooseman to Play in Show Match at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

Min “Gooseman” Le — one of the original creators of Counter-Strike and the mastermind behind the legendary Dust2 map — has confirmed his participation in a special show match at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

Gooseman broke the news on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, humorously admitting that he hasn't practiced in quite a while.

In response to a fan who joked that the game might look like a dad playing with his child, he fired back with a witty twist:

“More like a father getting a black eye from a ball thrown by his kid at 100 miles per hour…”

The nostalgic exhibition match is scheduled to take place just before the Grand Final on June 22, adding an extra layer of excitement to one of the biggest CS2 events of the year.
