hades initially joined Monte in July 2024, becoming a key part of the lineup for nearly 10 months. During his time with the team, he contributed to Monte’s most notable achievement of the season — reaching the semi-finals of ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 — and helped push the roster to a peak of No. 28 in the HLTV world rankings.

In April 2025, hades was loaned to G2 Esports as a short-term replacement for Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov. While with G2, he participated in several high-profile tournaments, including PGL Major Copenhagen, IEM Dallas, and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, where he averaged a 1.02 HLTV rating across all events.

However, G2 chose not to retain him permanently, instead opting to sign Álvaro “SunPayus” García from Heroic. This led to hades' return to Monte — though only briefly, as the organization has now confirmed his full departure.

Monte Roster Down to Three Core Players

With hades leaving, Monte’s active roster is reduced to just three official members. Toward the end of the competitive season, the team had already been relying on stand-ins: Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras and Thomas “Djoko” Pavoni.

As of now, Monte’s lineup includes:

  • Aurélien “afro” Drapier
  • Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen
  • Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas

The team is currently coached by Ivan “AiyvaN” Semenets.

With the summer break underway, Monte will likely be evaluating their options as they work to rebuild and solidify their roster ahead of the next competitive season.
