Falcons CEO Denies $2M Transfer Rumor Surrounding kyousuke Signing

On June 23, 2025, Falcons officially announced the acquisition of Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin from Spirit Academy. However, the news quickly sparked speculation when a CS influencer claimed the organization paid $2 million for the transfer—a figure that Falcons CEO Mossad "Msdossary" Aldossary swiftly denied.

“Thanks for sharing the announcement. However, the buyout rumor isn’t correct. The buyout was big, but not close to what you mentioned,”Aldossary commented on the post.

💼 A Big Signing, But Not That Big

While Aldossary confirmed the fee was significant, he dismissed the inflated $2M figure, highlighting that rumors have exaggerated the deal. Nonetheless, kyousuke's signing continues Falcons’ aggressive rebuild, following a series of high-profile roster moves in 2025.

Earlier this year, Falcons made headlines by acquiring m0NESY from G2 Esports, with the transfer reportedly costing around $2.5 million, one of the most expensive in CS2 history. Prior to that, the organization bought out HEROIC’s trioTeSeS, degster, and kyxsan — in a move that further underscored its competitive ambition.

🧩 kyousuke: A Strategic Investment for the Future

The addition of kyousuke represents not only a key piece of the Falcons' long-term strategy, but also another major financial commitment. While official numbers remain undisclosed, unofficial estimates suggest the club has spent over half a million dollars in less than six months to assemble an elite roster.

🦅 Falcons’ Current Lineup:

  • Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski
  • Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin
  • Rene "TeSeS" Madsen
  • Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
  • Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov

🎮 Next Stop: IEM Cologne 2025

The revamped Falcons lineup is set to debut at IEM Cologne 2025, taking place from July 26 to August 3. With a $1.25 million prize pool, the tournament will be the first real test of the team’s synergy and a chance to see if these investments can turn into titles.
