Rumors: Happy will be the head coach of the M80

According to journalist and insider purest, Happy, a former professional player and French Counter-Strike legend, will become the new head coach of the M80 team. Recall that the team of the former co-owner of XSET was officially presented last week.

Happy made a name for himself in CS:GO where he won DreamHack Winter 2014, Gfinity Champion of Champions, DreamHack Open Cluj⁠-⁠Napoca 2015, Global eSports Cup - Season 1, World Electronic Sports Games 2016 and DreamHack Open Atlanta 2017. During his career, the Frenchman managed to try his hand at Team LDLC, Team Envy and Team Vitality, having scored a legendary highlight in the Desert Eagle on the Inferno map.

However, in the spring of 2020, Happy moved to VALORANT. The 31-year-old Frenchman was unable to find his team for a while, until he joined Giants Gaming early last year.

However, he failed to gain a foothold here, as a result of which he moved to Excel Esports. The last professional team for the Frenchman was Team BDS, with which he took third place in the VALORANT Open Tour: France Finals. Since February, however, Happy has remained in the shadows of the competitive scene, focusing mostly on streaming.

As a reminder, last week the M80 organization introduced its first VALORANT roster . The North American team will strive to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: North America Stage 1 Challengers by participating in the upcoming qualifiers.
