Rumors: İstanbul Wildcats to sign dimasick and 7ssk7 for Challengers
According to journalist Dr_ALPH4, the Turkish esports organization İstanbul Wildcats will sign dimasick and 7ssk7 to participate in the regional Challengers. It is reported that the club is awaiting the approval of transfers from Riot Games, as the organizers had previously canceled the series for the CIS.
Given the announcement of the cancellation of the CIS league, the Istanbul Wildcats organization plans to sign BraveAF, d3ffo, dimasick, 7ssk7 and falltw to participate in the Turkish Challengers. The club is awaiting permission from Riot Games to make a final decision
dimasick spent the last months of his career with Team Liquid, with whom he became the winner of the VCT 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, and also reached the playoffs of VALORANT Champions 2022.
In turn, 7ssk7 previously represented the colors of Natus Vincere. Together with Born to Win, the 23-year-old Belarusian player made it to the TOP-3 in the Meta Open Valorant, Finest Invitational and Moscow Cybersport Series #4 - Weekend 8, and also played the last VCT 2022 season.
İstanbul Wildcats' latest addition should be falltw, who spent last season with Case Esports. Here, the 25-year-old esportsman won VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 2, and also made it to the top three at VRL 2022 Spain: Rising Stage 1 and VRL 2022: Finals.
Note that earlier the Turkish organization signed contracts with BraveAF and d3ffo, former players of Fnatic and M3 Champions, respectively.
According to a source, İstanbul Wildcats expects to see just such a roster next season. However, the final decision rests with Riot Games, which may block transfers due to the number of non-residents.
Probable line-up of İstanbul Wildcats for participation in the Challengers series:
- dimasick
- 7ssk7
- falltw
- BraveAF
- d3ffo
