L1NK may leave Team Liquid
According to insider George Geddes, the European esports organization Team Liquid is preparing to make changes to the starting lineup for VALORANT, refusing the services of L1NK. The 23-year-old British player has already missed several training sessions with the team, seemingly one step away from leaving Team Liquid.
L1NK was the founder of the original team line-up, formed in the summer of 2020 after the club bought fish123. In two years, the 23-year-old British player helped the team win VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 2, VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier and Red Bull Home Ground #2, and also get into the top three at Red Bull Home Ground, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 and VALORANT Champions 2021.
In addition, L1NK took part in major international championships, namely VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík (4th place) and VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík (7th-8th place).
Note that this is not the only change coming to Team Liquid. Earlier, the same insider reported on the possibility of appointing AREZ to the position of head coach of the team.
Team Liquid continues their performances as part of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers. Based on the results of the three rounds played, the European team is in third place, having two wins and one loss.
The current Team Liquid VALORANT roster is as follows:
- soulcas.
- L1NK.
- ScreaM.
- jumppi.
- Nivera.
- Bacon9 (analyst).
