From Duelist to Key Flex Player

keiko joined Team Liquid after the 2023 season, transferring from Apeks, and quickly became a core part of the roster. In his first year, he served as the team’s main Duelist, though the season proved challenging overall — Liquid finished eighth in the EMEA region and failed to qualify for any international events.

The 2025 season, however, brought a shift in both roles and results. With the arrival of kamo, keiko transitioned into a Controller role, often taking charge of smokes and map control. The change paid off: Team Liquid secured a second-place finish at the EMEA Kickoff, just behind Team Vitality, earning its first international appearance since Champions Los Angeles 2023.

Throughout the year, keiko continued to demonstrate versatility by switching between Controller and Duelist positions, often delivering standout performances across multiple tournaments. His contributions helped Liquid qualify for all three international events in 2025, culminating in a trophy win at EMEA Stage 2 — a high point for the team that season.

Liquid Begins a New Chapter

Following the close of the 2025 season, Team Liquid has initiated a major roster overhaul. Alongside keiko, the organization has also parted ways with trexx and paTiTek, leaving only two players from the previous lineup as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
