GTA 6 is arguably the most-hyped video game release of all time, and its November release date is edging closer, with full marketing starting imminently from developers Rockstar Games. With this being the first game in the popular series since 2013, prediction markets are covering the upcoming game in great detail, with Kalshi just one site offering markets for traders to predict certain events. Here are some of the most notable Kalshi markets for GTA 6.

Rockstar has said almost nothing since pre-orders opened in June, which is part of why these markets move so little. Bloomberg's Jason Schreier said in a recent video that development sits at 90% complete and that the game is confirmed to release on November 19, with the studio far more confident in this date than in the ones it abandoned before. That report is the closest thing traders have to a status update. I read the pricing on Kalshi as a measure of how much people trust Rockstar's schedule rather than a read on the game itself.

Trade on GTA 6 release date with Kalshi

The GTA 6 release date has long been a hotly contested topic, but after multiple delays, the November 19 release date looks solid, with pre-orders already live. Still, you can trade on that specific outcome. The GTA 6 release date has three main predictions to make: before 2027, before July 2027, and before December 2026. The November 19 date, which recently got a vote of confidence from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, would fit within those parameters — currently traders believe there is an 84% chance of a release before December.

Not everyone in the industry treats the date as locked. Mike York, a former Rockstar animator who worked on GTA 5, told Indy100 he would not rule out a push into 2027, arguing that the studio can spend another six months on a rough final mission and the audience will wait anyway. That 84% figure prices in a very low chance of delay to 2027, so York's scenario is the cheap side of the market. Pre-orders for the Standard and Ultimate editions opened in June, which usually points to a date a publisher intends to keep.

Trade the Game of the Year

Yet, they all have pretty low numbers on Kalshi. None of them exceeds 10% support. Meanwhile, GTA 6, which no one has even seen the gameplay of, sits at 67%. That's trending down a bit, but it is still well above all other games. That 67% sits oddly next to the wider data. LevelUp Analytics, in a report covered by The Game Business, ranked Ocarina of Time as a possible GOTY front-runner by two metrics the market ignores: trailer views and article count, with GTA 6 absent from both lists because Rockstar published nothing new for most of the year. The Legend of Zelda remake is also reported to land the same month as GTA 6, about a week earlier. Everything other than Rockstar's game splits the remaining third of the GOTY market, so that clash is worth checking before you take the 67%. The November clash buys Ocarina of Time a hype spike well beyond the Nintendo crowd, but it takes GOTY only if GTA 6 lands as merely decent.

Songs on the radio

GTA 6 will have an extensive array of radio stations like other Grand Theft Auto titles before it. But what songs will be on it? That is anyone's guess, but Kalshi has the market to make predictions on just that. There are tons of interesting options:

Rockstar has never published a GTA tracklist ahead of launch, so GTA 6 soundtrack speculations and leaks come straight from the artists. Panama confirmed in a since-deleted Instagram reply that Back to Life, their collaboration with Poolside, is going into the game, and Neon Indian's Alan Palomo teased on a podcast that his run with Rockstar Games is not over. Both acts played on GTA 5's Radio Mirror Park. A December leak pointed to a lineup spanning classic rock, modern hip-hop, chart pop and Latin urban music, which makes the chart-toppers on Kalshi's list plausible without confirming any of them.

Extended look

There is also, finally, a prediction market for the extended look coming up on Netflix. The trailer reveal will be streamed, and you can predict how long it will last. At least 20, 30, and 45 minutes are available as markets. Currently, traders at Kalshi are giving a 91% chance that the August 27 event will be at least 20 minutes long.

It's worth noting that a leaked Netflix support chat revealed that the trailer showcase would be 20 minutes long.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has been pushing the showcase hard. In an interview with IGN, he used the phrase "extended trailer" instead of "look" and described it as a must-watch show, telling anyone without a Netflix subscription to get one. The platform counts over 325 million subscribers, which explains the choice of venue. Schreier has separately said Rockstar has no plans to reveal a GTA 6 multiplayer mode soon, so those 20 minutes almost certainly cover single-player only. I expect the runtime market to settle within minutes of the stream going live, while the GOTY market will move on what the footage actually shows.
