Fortnite Is Confirmed to Get a Collaboration with Persona 5—First Teaser Revealed

Atlus, the studio behind the Persona game series, has officially announced a crossover with Fortnite, specifically featuring the franchise's fifth installment. It's launching as part of Season 4, Chapter 7, titled Override. Few details have surfaced so far, with the announcement accompanied only by a short teaser featuring a familiar face.

On social media, Atlus shared a brief teaser for the Fortnite collaboration showing Joker running across a futuristic map. Epic Games is expected to share more crossover details closer to Override's launch. In the meantime, you can check out the official teaser below:

Next month marks Persona 5's 10th anniversary, and the Fortnite crossover has been timed to line up with the milestone. The game's considered one of the best in the series, having gotten an enhanced re-release, an anime adaptation, and several spin-offs over the years. It's also recently come out that Fortnite's eight new Gem Sprites bring the game's total Sprite collection to nearly 120 creatures, just days before the current season wraps up.

Speaking of the Persona game series, Atlus officially announced Persona 6 this summer— according to unconfirmed reports, it'll be the darkest entry in the franchise yet, with a story built around themes of reincarnation and identity. The studio has also confirmed Persona 4 Revival will release on February 18, 2027, on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. On top of that, Netflix is reportedly developing a series based on the franchise, with Christopher Monfette attached as writer, showrunner, and executive producer.
