March 2026 is shaping up to be a massive month for Clash of Clans, with leaks and rumors pointing to one of the biggest updates in recent memory. Reports suggest the arrival of a brand-new Hero, a fresh Village Helper called the Prospector, a complete redesign of the Gold Pass, and a major overhaul of the Season Bank system.

Here’s everything revealed so far.

New Hero: Dragon Duke

According to early information, Clash of Clans may soon introduce its sixth Hero — the Dragon Duke. The leaked preview shows the Hero at Level 25, featuring high durability and strong damage output.

The Dragon Duke is rumored to have a passive ability called Royal Rampage, which appears to:

  • Increase damage when allied flying units are nearby
  • Boost attack speed
  • Reduce trap damage taken

Since the showcased level cap is 25, speculation suggests this Hero could be designed for Town Hall 17 or higher.

New Village Helper: The Prospector

One of the most intriguing additions is a new Village Helper known as the Prospector.

Players who are Town Hall 10 or above and own the Gold Pass reportedly unlock the Prospector after reaching 2,400 Season Points.

Based on the preview, the Prospector stays in the Helper Hut and automatically converts ores daily throughout the season. The system appears simple and streamlined:

  • No upgrade levels
  • No gem costs
  • No hidden bonuses
  • Operates on a fixed cooldown of approximately 23 hours

The feature is expected to launch alongside March’s upcoming “Cosmic Season.”

Gold Pass Overhaul

The Gold Pass is reportedly receiving a complete visual and structural redesign.

New UI Layout

The interface now features a full-page layout with larger reward icons and improved clarity. The progression bar looks cleaner, and rewards appear better spaced and easier to track.

Flexible Rewards System

One of the biggest changes involves how rewards are claimed. Instead of being locked into fixed items at specific tiers, players may now choose between options. For example:

  • Rune of Gold or Rune of Elixir
  • Book of Fighting or Book of Spells
  • Two different Hero skins or the season’s featured skin

This added flexibility allows players to select rewards based on their current needs.

Updated Task System

The Task Card system also appears slightly refined. Previewed tasks include:

  • Starting building upgrades
  • Beginning laboratory research
  • Upgrading heroes or pets
  • Donating reinforcements
  • Completing Star Bonuses
  • Winning battles
  • Destroying Town Halls

It remains unclear whether the Gold Pass price will change.

Hoggy Bank Replaces Season Bank

The traditional Season Bank may be replaced by a new system called the Hoggy Bank.

Like the previous system, it stores bonus loot earned from battles during the season. However, the new design clearly displays resource capacity bars, making progress easier to track.

Gold Pass owners appear to receive an additional Hoggy Bank Multiplier, with a visible badge showing a potential 5x multiplier that increases the final payout at the end of the season.

While none of this information has been officially confirmed yet, the March 2026 update is already shaping up to be one of the most ambitious changes in Clash of Clans history. If these leaks prove accurate, players can expect significant gameplay improvements and greater reward flexibility in the months ahead.
