Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Revamps Brawl Mode With Expanded Hero Pool and New Features
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has officially begun rolling out a major revamp of its popular Brawl Mode, aiming to make the experience more engaging and accessible—especially for newer players. The update introduces a richer hero pool, new hero selection labels, and additional incentives tied to performance. Selected players have already received early access to the optimized mode.
One of the most significant changes is the expansion of the Brawl hero pool. The system now randomly adds 10 heroes that players do not own into their available selection for each match. While this update offers limited benefits for long-time players, it significantly improves accessibility for newcomers by allowing them to experiment with a wider variety of heroes.

The update also introduces new labels in the hero selection screen. These labels clearly indicate whether a hero is fully unlocked for Ranked play or only available as a free trial in Brawl Mode, helping reduce confusion during hero selection.
Another notable addition is a performance-based reward system. Players who perform well with a hero in Brawl Mode are granted 24-hour access to that hero, even if it has not been unlocked or purchased for Ranked play. This feature serves as a strong incentive to engage more actively with Brawl Mode and provides players with a risk-free way to test heroes in competitive environments.
Overall, the Brawl Mode revamp focuses on improving accessibility and rewarding experimentation, making the mode more welcoming for new players while adding meaningful progression incentives.
