Mobile Legends Teases Obsidia: The 130th Hero and a Dark, Powerful Marksman
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is preparing to introduce its 130th hero, and her name is Obsidia – the Sovereign of Dark’s End. This mysterious new female Marksman is currently in development and is already making waves with her impressive and unique skill set. Lore-wise, Obsidia has ties to Alice, Thamuz, and Selena, hinting at a deeper connection to MLBB’s darker legends. Let’s dive into what we know so far.
🏹 Hero Overview: Obsidia – The Bone-Fueled Marksman
Obsidia is designed to be a high-damage AoE Marksman who thrives on collecting “Bone Shards” to empower her abilities. Much like Julian or Aamon, her skill mechanics evolve dynamically based on resource stacks—adding a layer of strategic depth to her playstyle.

🔥 Obsidia’s Abilities Breakdown
Passive – Return to the Bone
- Deals bonus damage and collects Bone Fragments by hitting enemies (excluding Creeps).
- 5 fragments = 20 Bone Shards (max 1 by default).
- When attacking, Bone Shards home in on enemies, dealing bonus physical damage.
- Killing different heroes grants bonus shards.
- At 20+ shards, her skills become enhanced.
- Dying results in shard loss if you hold too many.
Skill 1 – Bone Needle/ Abyssal Bone Needle
- Normal: Fires a skillshot at a target, dealing 350 Physical Damage (+100% Phy ATK).
- Enhanced: Pierces through enemies, hitting all in its path—similar to Moskov’s piercing basic attacks.
Skill 2 – Shadowmeld
- Normal: Enters a Shadowmeld state, gaining 100% Movement Speed for 0.3s. Ends on attacking or using another skill.
- Enhanced: Grants untargetable status for the duration—making it a strong defensive tool, similar to Selena's transformation.
Ultimate – Wrath of Bone/ Enhanced Wrath of Bone
- Normal: Unleashes an AoE burst dealing 200/300/400 Physical Damage (+50% Phy ATK) to all nearby enemies and grants temporary Bone Shards.
- Enhanced (20 Shards): Grants more shards per enemy hit and removes the cap, making it a massive damage and farming tool.
🧠 Skill Analysis: How Strong Is Obsidia?

Obsidia is shaping up to be a meta-defining Marksman with strong AoE presence, great mobility, and flexible playmaking potential:
- Her first skill delivers fast and powerful AoE damage.
- Shadowmeld gives her an excellent escape or repositioning ability. When enhanced, it can completely dodge attacks.
- Her Ultimate dishes out heavy burst damage and accelerates shard generation. It’s a game-changer in teamfights, especially when paired with crowd control or a strong front line.

However, she might struggle against high burst assassins or hard CC. Positioning and awareness will be crucial to master her.
🧩 Is Obsidia Overpowered?
With proper shard management and smart teamplay, Obsidia could quickly become one of the strongest Marksmen in MLBB. Her damage scaling, mobility, and utility make her deadly in the right hands. She's particularly effective in drawn-out team fights where she can stack Bone Shards and chain her enhanced abilities.
📅 When Will Obsidia Be Released?
Obsidia is still in development, with no official launch date announced yet. She hasn’t appeared on the Advanced Server yet but is expected to undergo testing there soon. Once balanced and polished, she’ll be released on the Original Server.
