Warner Bros. Montreal Announced New Layoffs 1

Not only Warner Bros. Montreal but the parent company itself has been struggling in the gaming industry over the past few years. As mentioned in WB’s 2025 earnings report, by the first quarter, the company received a 48% decrease in games as they hadn't released any new projects and, moreover, canceled a DLC to Hogwarts Legacy and the above-mentioned Wonder Woman video game, developed by Monolith Productions.
