Warner Bros. Games Teasing Huge Video Games Releasing Soon

This year, WB Games will release LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which is said to be one of the biggest games about the Dark Knight ever. The game is set to release on May 29 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, but the studio is reportedly looking to raise the stakes in the next two years, with a highly anticipated ambitious project to be launched.

JB Perrette, the lead of Warner Bros. Discovery, a company that owns Warner Bros. Games, has spoken to Variety, where he teased the return of studio’s biggest franchises in the coming years, specifically in 2027 and 2028. You can check his words below:

"The real fruits will start coming in '27-'28 when we return to some of our biggest franchises"

Of course, he didn’t mention directly which games it will, but the most obvious answer right now is the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, which is confirmed to be in development by Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Studios. Moreover, a recent report from Magic World Report says Hogwarts Legacy 2 will release somewhere between January and April of 2027, after the premiere of Harry Potter’s new TV show for HBO Max. However, we might also expect something else, for instance, the new game in the Batman: Arkham franchise or the new Mortal Kombat.
